Does anyone know where we could find some fire that would fit nicely inside the bin?

Downloaded on 11/17/18, but it only contains 2 .stl files, 'dumpster closed' and 'dumpster open' both one piece prints - probably great for HO modeling or such, but I'd like to print one made of the individual panels like you describe on this Thingverse page. I was hoping to use it as a desktop parts tray. It seems like the wrong files were uploaded here at some time since the last person commented, as many people seem to have found the other paneled version.
It looks like a very clever item and assembly technique. I'll keep checking back...

Sorry, false alarm. Forgot to unzip the new file and I had a "Dumpster" stl file from another source in my projects file, so it seemed I was opening the downloaded file. I even downloaded it a 2nd time and repeated the mistake, so was pretty sure about the whole fiasco.

Dumpster goes on the printer as soon as it's done. Now to decide what filament to use. .

Ha, I was just about to reply. I'm glad you were able to sort it out.

attempting to print this, but cura is drawing a straight line about halfway up at a diagonal across the open space in the dumpster, so once it hits that, the rest of the print gets kinda wonky, not sure why it is happening

Yo what's up with the dumpster doughnuts

For those with issues on the hinge try straightening a paper clip and using it. It fits perfect (if you have it bent right) and can bend the ends into an L shape so it doesn't fall out of the holes.

Hello, what kind of Glue do you recommend for this? I'm trying Loctite UltraGel Control with very little luck

I used hot glue on the inside and then cut out the excess with razor and pliers.

The hole is a little bit too tiny, But it's a great job!
I realy love it!

I am inexplicably drawn to this model! Very well done. Thanks for sharing!

Just printed out my second print of this model. What a fun print. If you have the build volume I recommend printing at 110% or bigger so that the hinges have large enough holes. I left the bar out and replaced it with some thin gardeners wire. Great job.

I just printed this out...the main can and the lids came out fine. However the casters and the side holders did not. I am wondering if I enlarge it if it will come out better?? I have a nephew that absolutely loves garbage trucks and I want to print him one for his upcoming birthday.

Im sure it will, Just reprint everything at a larger scale

I have to print a Bum to sleep in mine for sure!

where does the 2sleeve go?

Ok now i have seen it some one need to make a robot dump truck to complete the setup
