Great work! I remixed it to become the rude version.

Thank you!

All thanks go to you, for creating the model and sharing with a license which enabled the remix.

Hello! Could you upload solid version of this model? Thank you!

Please check my new fill (solid) version, "kabuto_without.stl".

I sliced the model with Slic3r, but after one hour the Printer (CR-10) stopped and only the half model was printed :-(
I will try it again tomorrow with Cura.

I didn’t know that.

I happened to see this model here and recognized it from the Polysher.

I really like this item :)
Did you need to use any supports or rafts to print it?

I printed this model with supports and rafts.
Some people can print this without supports as you may see "Made".

Hi,

I printed this with rafts and supports, However I realized after printing a "3x scaled up version", that supports weren't really required.
Not to mention the enormous amount of time it takes to print with the rafts and supports enabled! Also, the supports on the inside of the hollow body take a lot of material. I ended up consuming almost 65% an entire roll of filament by the time it was done and the supports were needlessly wasteful.

Unfortunately, it looks like Cura does not factor in the supports when computing print times because it estimated a time of 24 hours.
But my scaled up print took almost 32 hours to print @ 50 mm/s, 1.2mm shell thickness and 10% infill.

I'm planning to print a mirror image with the same scaled up size. And this time, I have disabled the rafts and supports completely. Hopefully, this will keep the actual print times closer to the estimated time of 24 hours.

Thanks!
