Great work! At the moment I try to figure out, what ist the best 3D software for me and my needs! Which one did you use!

Hey when I print this not sure why but the soil is always a few millimeters taller then the pot but it all the pictures its always a few millimeters shorter not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what

All soils should be a few mm below the pot edge. Unless you've done something odd with scaling i'm not sure what's going on?
If you load both the original pot and soil stl's into your slicer, do you see the same thing?

in the slicer it looks like it should or at least close to it, not sure how it would print that much taller though, I posted a picture of it in made so you can see how it came out

how do you get the apples on the trees

I use locktite super glue and it works great

Yep, most plastic glues will be fine.
Any pictures?

I have limited colors of pla. Any one know if this would look ok painted w acrylics

Hi justice118,

I would imagine PLA/ABS will take acrylic paint okay - you may have to prime the surface first?

I would also suggest to spray as opposed to brushing if possible.

Interested to see how it turns out - please keep me posted

Still not updated with an Christmas tree :(

Genius!! didn't even cross my mind!

I still have time - let me get that sorted asap.

A credit coming your way

Cheers and a happy Christmas to you!

Wow, that's a quick reply :) Awaiting your Christmas tree design!

Cool. This is really nice :D

These are so cool!
I'm going to print one :)

What faberdashery colors did you use?
I'm guessing greenery green for tree desert tan for trunk but not sure about the base and soil.
I like your colors so would be nice to know what you used :)

Hi EJoftheVern,

I used Faberdashery PLA:
Village Green (tree)
Greenery Green (tree)
Squeezed Orange (pot)
Mellow Yellow (pot)
Fire Truck Red (pot)
Earl Grey (pot)
Woodland Brown (soil)
Dessert tan (trunks)

Thanks much appreciated. :)
