The five small holes around the model are for 4mm leds, these may require some drilling depending on how much your plastic shrinks and your printers accuracy.
This is a project for a friend of mine and below is pretty much the discussion that got this project started. :3
- Could you help me with a cosplay I'll be making for Comicon this year?
- Sure! who had you thought about cosplaying?
- Deadshot from the new Suicide Squad movie.
- I'll fire up the 3D printer~
So was the project "Model and print Deadshot's gear" born!
This is the first piece of the project I modeled and as long as you don't have super big manga/anime eyes I dare call this a one size fits all! :D
I will try to design and put out the various body plates that
Deadshot's outfit consists of, but if I know myself as well as I hope I do it will take a while til everything is finished. ^^'
I haven't yet came up with any way of wiring the leds on this thing, so if you have suggestions for where to put the wires or you have any other reference picture than this please post it in the comments!
Possble solutions would be to make space for one of those button batteries inside the eyepiece or running the wiring into the mask. ^-^
