Any chance you could modify the base tray so that the walls are higher to avoid dice bouncing out? I am not sure if others have had this issue but I have even lined the tray with felt and it still manages to bounce out when the dice are dropped into the top of the tower. I think if the walls were like half an inch more to an inch would keep them from bouncing out. It is a great model and I love it. Printed nice.

Printed the larger one without support. Came out great! Dice do seem to tumble out, but I'm going to glue a small piece of felt on the bottom ramp with the hopes it will rob them of just enough momentum to keep them in. Thanks for the upload!

i love the way this print came out.
I've printed several dice towers and this is my favorite.
Is very sturdy. holds 10 standard size dice in the tray.
And has a great visual right off the printer.
Tower fits nicely into base.
I will post my pics soon.

sorry for sounding thick so does version 8 mean that there are no supports needed at all??

When I put it in my slicer, it places support on some of the windows (the ones with vertical brick texture cutting the top of the windows) so I've printed mine with supports. I haven't tried printing without supports.

I would reverse the key way...would make printing easier. JMHO

With the add of the hexagon on the bottom this becomes much more difficult to print. Is there a reason you did it this way?

My apologies for not getting to this sooner. I published version 8, which makes the hex key on the tower the same cross section as the tower base so no support is needed. It makes the tray larger (by adding a 7mm border), but I think it looks nicer. I haven't printed it yet, so if you do, let me know if there are problems.
