Hey! Just how does the plate hold the wire in the middle?

Never mind, just read it

Would you be able to give a brief description of how the spring and screw is setup and how do i buy you a coffee for this great build, Bob

Thanks for your kind words Bob.

For some reason Thingiverse is now cutting the top of my images off. If you maximise the image and then click 'view original', you will be able to see the spring assembly.

I simply pushed the spring into the spring plate, wrapped the wire around the threads of a screw, and threaded the wire through the middle of the spring. The head of the screw stops the screw passing through the spring.

I receive 79c of every donation at http://3dsha.re/product/table-top-foam-cutter/ or my paypal is paypal.me/samcatchpolesmith

Thanks!

Thanks for the response. What is the wire running up the back, is it a spring type wire or just one of the wires for power. Sorry but still not fully understanding the spring up top, will figure it out hopefully, great design though

Sorry I didn't see this reply! It's just wire for power. I will try to find the original images now a re-upload them as Thingiverse has cropped them weirdly for some reason.

How do you connect the spring? Can you add an image that show your usage of the spring?
