Hi Mark, sorry for the late reply!
Yes. So the Arduino programming is pretty open-source. You can type in whatever you want to do with it in Youtube, and some relevant video should come up. For mine, I used a PIR sensor, so if you type in PIR sensor Arduino in google, some codes should come up.
If you want to do more stuff with it, you can also look at its website: arduino.cc and there are some reference of different codes. Or Instructables.com, they have a lot of detailed DIY instructions too. :)

But basically you can just buy different parts you want online (I got them on amazon lol) and some jumper wires or a breadboard, and then you attach them together and upload the codes.
