Great job on this one. Definitely a tight fit but scaling down 1-2% did the trick for me. Thank you!

This is perfect! I printed one of these to upgrade my driveway marker flag/light on my kayak. I have a vehicle led on top of the pole from superbrightleds.com for night fishing and just wanted to clean it up using printed parts instead of electrical tape and zip ties. I'll upload pictures when I finish up my flag and have pc access. Thanks for a fantastic design! It fits great in my Scotty gear track adapter!

can you make this Scotty 416 Rod Balancer/Rod Rest

Thanks for making this. I'm planning on creating my own DIY SEA-Light (http://www.scotty.com/boating-supplies-equipment/safety-equipment/safety-lights.htm) for my kayak and this is a perfect start. I'll probably design a collar for a PVC pipe so that I can just glue it directly to the pipe.

@ChrisChampion

That is exactly what I used this for! The hole in the middle is sized for a common fiberglass rod used for driveway reflectors. If you are interested I can dig up and upload the holder for a princeton tec amp 1L flashlight. http://www.princetontec.com/amp-1lbc This is a really inexpensive solution.

Why didn't I think of the Fiberglas rod? I totally overbuilt mine with a 3/4" PVC pipe. For a flashlight I got an inexpensive waterproof LED and epoxied a translucent film canister over the top. I'll have to get on designing a holder for that which has the same hole for the rod. Thanks!

Check my "I made one" for final design of the flashlight top. Nothing fancy, just two cylinders glued in TinkerCAD on the top. I added a light logo for a knurled grip.
