Thanks for the model. I remixed it into a smaller version more suited for a child. The hilt/guard pin seems too long though, the hilt doesn't seat fully into the guard -- is that expected? I just snipped off some of the pin and it'll glue much better.

Also I get some overhang droopies in the rounded pommel, printing PLA with a FlashForge Creator Pro.

Anyone able to get Blade 1 fixed?

if you`re still looking for a way to fix it then when it ask to repair the model ignore it

I've tried slicing sword blade 1 with both s3d and cura, both mess up the print close to the top. I know other people have had trouble with it, so does is there any fix?

Great Sword, i printed/assembled it as a day project, and it went great!

as for part "scarlet_sword_blade_1_battle_worn", it says it needs to be repaired. i was able to ignore that and it printed just fine.

Thank you for the Upload.

going to give it as a gift.

I can`t slice it with Slic3r or repair with netfabb. Any help please? Thanks.

Yep, I can't repair it either.

just print it. don't worry about repairing it. i printed it and it worked just fine.

Slic3r won't be able to print/generate gcode for it. Probably will print if sliced with cura or something else, but I use slic3r and don't have tuned profiles for any other :/

HEEEi great job!!! Is possible to have the file of the full sword? Without the slice?

I am having a bunch of issues with getting bed adhesion for such long parts, did you use a raft for your prints/increase the size of your raft diameter?

Hm, yes I definitely use a raft for this piece - and actually we use UP printers for most manufacturing, so the raft is essential. What sort of printer do you have?

I've been using a Printrbot Play which, with one small modification to the hilt, prints all these parts just within the print volume. Both the handle and the bottom third of the sword has knocked off the print bed with only about a quarter inch to go. I am guessing that the part is just long enough that if its not adhered to the bed well, the moment at the top of the part yanks it off the bed as the print head crosses the top, but I will try a larger raft diameter later today and come back with my findings :)

Oh cool! Hm yeah, I would just print the parts one at a time, especially the big ones centered in the plate - this will reduce the chances of something like this happening.

Happy printing!

I have problem with printing the first part of the blade (bottom part)
My software is showing me it is wrongly defined :/

Can you please provide support?

Awesome! I'm out of yellow pla right now, but i'll print one as soon as i have a new roll
