Any chance the CAD sources can be released?

What is it that you need?

I'm not typically keen on releasing CAD files. My designs (and these are only a few of them) are provided free to users. However, I have had designs stolen in the past to people who either make them their own, with their own credit, or worse they try to sell it.

I want to make the main frame have a mount for a pixhawk so that it is all in one neat assembly. That way, I can position this over the center of gravity.

Any update on this request?

The rotation ring seems to fill in completely when I try and run it through Simplify3D. Anyone else have the same issue?

There seems to be a problem with the Rotation_Ring STL file. There are some non-manifold faces leading Slic3r to believe there are only two tabs available.

Looks great! How much does the entire assembly typically weigh, mobius included?

I printed it and it weighed 164g including Mobius

How does this deploy/retract? I assume that's what the third servo is for, but I can't see where it's supposed to sit.

Again, the tilt and retract servo's are not specified to allow the design to be as adaptable as possible. I wanted it to be able to use any servo you could manage, but unfortunately I had to make an exec decision for the pan servo, due to the fact that it needs to be precisely centered.

Currently printing this for the bottom camera port on my Talon. A fixed gimbal & dome would scrape on landing, so hopefully retracting before landing will solve that problem. Cool design, thanks for sharing!

Please post your results! I would love to see it installed and operating in your Talon! Do you post on RCG?

That makes an install on an Albatross UAV, your Talon, and soon to be UAV 3000.

I really hope it is as versatile as I designed it. If it worked in your talon, and works well in the UAV3000, then I would consider it a success. :)
