Would it be possible for you to upload a solid step file of this? I don't have Solidworks but I do have Creo 2.0 but I need a solid file to edit. When I import the solidworks files into Creo they come in all in surfaces.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I have uploaded 2 step files. Let me know if they work for you.

Fine dust still gets into my shopvac. Any way to minimize this?

Hi, unfortunately it is what it is. Making it as airtight as possible helps. The fine particles are the hardest to filter. I didn't calculate exact efficiencies, but mine has been working solidly for a long time. There are probably better designs, but not being a filter engineer, I've been pretty happy with how it performs.

I printed it also in petg It works well.
It just got a bit warped to the facuum hole is bit misshaped.

has any one made it yet ?

Yes I have made one. As I stated in the info section, it would be better if it the walls were a bit thicker. That said, the two pieces went together really well and it seems to work quite well. I rubbed it down with acetone to fix the de-laminations and then coated the inside and outsides with XTC-3D just to strengthen it some. I uploaded some pictures. I used one of those rubber jar lid openers as a gasket between the separator and the bucket.
