Recasting pla in a resin container would perhaps be an additional idea. For e.g. memorial purposes. We lost a child in pregnancy in 2nd trimester and the only thing you leave with, after you gave birth by induced labor, is tiny inkprints of hand and feet and photo's. Both get locked away for safekeeping.

Recasting those tiny PLA prints (original scale should be JUST possible starting 2nd trimester) into resin should make it able to keep the 3d print itself safe and gives the option, with the additional volume, to turn it in basically every object possible from jewelry to keychain to be paperpress. That way you can keep it more close. With a printer and a load of resin at hand you can fail at the attempt without destroying memories. And if you are known with the materials you can decorate up till crazy.

Dunno if pla and resin are combinable but once im mentally up to it i'll give it a shot and start drawing and figure out materials.
