I can't find springs for this anyware, can some of you help with a link to where you got yours?

Excelente trabajo este extrusor.
Ahora mismo estoy imprimiendo para mejorar mi I3 Steel, pero me surge la duda de saber las medidas de la rueda dentada que empuja el filamento.

Se lo he montado a un amigo en su i3, y le funciona de maravilla... venía de un Greg Wade más pasado que la macarena y ha notado el cambio, sobre todo a la hora de imprimir flexible.

Me he tirado toda la tarde después de instalarselo viéndolo imprimir porque es un lujo lo bien que funciona.
Mil gracias por este genial diseño! Sencillísimo y de calidad brutal!

muy buen diseño, pero yo tube que ponerle un hobbed de 12 mm para que funcione bien por que el mk7 y el mk8 queda muy lejos de la guia del filamento, felicitaciones, pronto subo fotos

Si es que depende un poco de la mk7 pero con casí todas las que he probado, me ha funcionado bien, tengo pendiente una modificación para mk8 y varias cosillas más

I find a lot of MK7 spare parts but no cooling ribs that look like yours.

I think it will fit, that hotend its a copy of e3d v6.

The mk7 dont be worry, all the mk7 has more or less same dimensions

Si es para e3dV6 especificamente, y es para filamento de 1,75 por eso no lleva engranajes

No lo entiendo muy bien. Yo tengo un E3dv6 para filamento de 1,75 y el extrusor que uso es un rework que lleva los dos engranajes.
Si utilizara tu extrusor, no debería cambiar los parámetros de velocidad del motor?

Puedes usar los dos sistemas, pero con 1,75 los engranajes no son necesarios, el motor tiene fuerza suficiente para extruir el filamento sin engranajes, y claro tendrías que cambias los pasos del extrusor

Hola buenas tiene muy buena pinta la verdad, he imprimido filaflex con el tipico greg extruder y un all metal made in aliexpress pero estoy un poco harto del greg. Valdria tamnbien para imprimir abs y pla verdad? Y tengo duda si cabrá el cabezal del allmetal chino ya que el e3d v6 creo que es un poco mas estrecho el cabezal.Gracias y buen trabajo amigo

What is the recommended fill % for the main body component?

I always use 20% infill (honeycomb), 0.3mm layers

Does anyone have a hardware list to complete this extruder? i have some spare parts but not sure if I have enough

you need

1 m3x20mm screw
2 m3x40mm screw
2 m3 nuts
2 m4x16mm screw
1 m4x20mm screw
2 springs for extruder idler
1 mk7

And for fix the extruder to your printer, depends on your spacer, with the standar you need

4 m4x40mm screws
4 m4 nuts

Can you place this list in the text of your thing? I think a lot of people can use this! :)

My local hardware store doesn't stock m3. Smallest is m4 and some are cap head screws. Can I use m4 in place and just ream the holes slightly bigger?

I'm running a folgertech 2020 i3 with simplistic mounts the X rods.

La idea del mk8 seria brutal, para mi gusto el sistema de engranaje mucho mejor, pero de momento con este estoy encantado

El espesor depende de tu fusor, yo tengo un e3d v6 y necesita una chapa de 6mm pero tu tendrás que comprobarlo en el tuyo ;)

Yes it's for 1,75mm, the hole diameter it's 4.1mm for ptfe tubing, flexible material needs this tubing, without it, it's so difulcult to print it

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Works great right out of the gate! I have a feeling this will become a very popular extruder for the I3. Only issue for me is that I don't have a push connector that fits the top and I am going to make a fan mount for the hot end holder. Any chance you would give up some native files or STEP files.

Oh, and if I were you I would shave some material off the radius where the bolt/idler mount meet the top. Its a little hard getting the idler released to clean or remove filament.

The 3dr pic is an spacer, without it the stepper hit the frame.

Hey great setup! Want to print/use but it looks like its missing the piece to clamp hotend to main body. 3rd pic in is a part i think needs to be what im talking about because i dont understand where that piece is used?
