Will these work for a glass plate that is 1/4" thick or 6.35 mm?

I did a re-mix of this and the shim for 1/8" or 3mm glass:

Flashforge Dreamer Glass Bed Upgrade Parts 1\8" or 3mm
by -Josh-

I re-modeled that part for 3mm glass and added clearance for the platform nuts that are under the table, so there is no need to undo the factory nuts, just put the parts on and use a new nut and washer. If you want me to upload the STL just let me know. I'm new to 3d printing and this site so please forgive me if I'm not doing this in the correct place.

I would like the same as you said so that I don't have to remove the original nuts but for 4mm glass, is this possible please ? Thanks

Thanks fits perfect on a new creator pro (may 2017) with the glass bed from flashforge shop, probably only needed two but I made one for each corner. Used tiny flat washers under the piece to spread the pressure from the nut better across the plastic. Much appreciated.

Can we get a version for 3mm glass? These look perfect

What are the actual length and width of the Makersome glass plate? Flashforge lists the Creator Pro build volume as 220x145mm - I am assuming the build plate is 9x6" and the glass is slightly smaller, but would like a precise measurement to know the difference in bed vs glass footprint.

Where can i buy the glass kit in the UK?

Thanks for this - works perfectly! I had tried binder clips (Don't bother - there's no way to stop them being knocked off by the print head).
Getting MUCH better prints on the glass bed.

Makersome_Corners_X_2 (1st to 3rd image in the series above and the 1st file in the Thing File list) is to loose if you get a glass plate that is exactly the size of the blue standard bed that comes with the Flashforge Creator Pro.

Print Creator_Corners_V2_compact (4th image, 2nd STL in the list) instead which has slightly larger lips and should hold the glass better.

What kind of glass is did you use normal or tempered glass ?

We use (and sell) 5mm thick borosilicate glass.... aka pyrex. You can buy ours on Makersome.com or Amazon.

I'm from the UK

Thank you. I purchased a 3/16" piece of glass and watched your instructional video both on installing and leveling. Works great

Do you have the G-Code for this?

Printed this one, it has the slots for the retaining nut:

Works out well, but you will probably want to shorten the areas that extend above the bed by some.

FlashForge Creator Pro - Corner Glass clips

I've been using this one for about 6-7 months now. Over time it will start to flex and become harder and harder to get it to grip the glass, even when it's made from ABS. It's also a tad too tall even on thicker glass (my glass plate is approx. 6.7mm). I'd like to see a combo of the one from JHerridge and this new one. The extra corner support will help with flexing, but having the slot for the nut.

Hoping these will work better than the ones that came with my kit. They flop around and trying to get them to stay in place has stripped the screws through the bed.

If not I do have a mill and can mill them out so the nut will hold the screw and allow tightening of the wingnut without having to have the glass off and the bracket slip out of place in the process.

my Z axis bracket is undersized (length wise) as well, but seems to work anyway :-). Grabbed the one off here anyway.

Back to learning how to print on glass, like the idea MUCH better!

Please design the corner pieces so that the nut under the table does NOT need to be removed, Thank you.

I agree, this is pretty much useless unless you remove the existing nut. Back to the drawing board for me.

That's a great idea. I'll see if I can get that to work. Thanks for your input!

New (future) maker, here. I think if you just extend the slot all the way to the edge of the part, you will only have to loosen the nut to remove the plate. I will do a remix once my printer arrives next week.

Will these clips work with a 3/16 in. (4.76mm) thick glass? That is all i have available locally.

They sure will. The clips sit a tad lower than the 5mm glass plates to give some wiggle room, which should be just enough for your 3/16" glass plate. I suggest you download the V2 version, it has a bit more adjustment than the older version. Happy printing!

Great! Thanks for the parts and the supporting documentation. Your youtube channel is so helpful!

Thank you so much! We have a bunch more videos on the way so keep an eye out for them. If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see please let us know. We'd love to hear them.
