I think the part that fits over the connector and the wire is actually the most helpful part of this project. If nothing else, it can save me some shrink wrap and provide much stronger protection for the solder joints. Thank you very much!

This is great. I was looking for a connector to plug in my ham radio into my truck bed. This is perfect thank you .

I was about to print one but just noticed that you have the plugs backwards for mounting on a PSU. Normally the female side supplies the power, so that you cannot create a short circuit by accident with a metal object (as is easily done with the male side). Still, thanks for sharing the initial design, this may still be usable (and shareable!).

You are right, female connector should be on supplier side.

And that is the case for me as well - femaile connector is on the end of wire from PSU, male connector is mounted on printer side (the wooden box is not PSU - this is my 3d printer)
