when i try to print this the sides of the card reader and sd holder are to thin and just brake
do you use pla or abs?

Hey,

How do you get the cover so opaque?
I never get more than 2 layers and my covers are transparent.
Not only with white ( i post it in Made ) but also with darker colors.
I would like, as opaque as your cover in pink, it looks much better.

Thanks a lot.

Hey!

Could you please make one insert for PSP memory cards? PSP - Playstation Portable if someone doesn't know :)

Thanx a lot in advance.

Hey!
Give me its dimensions.

31mm x 20mm and there is a cutted angle on other side like on sim cards and SD cards aswell, so the dimensions are 27.5mm x 17.5mm, this are real size but i think need to make a bit bigger :)

I can't upload a pics but please look at the pictures somewhere or here - https://www.google.com/search?q=Memory+Stick+Duo&client=opera&biw=1920&bih=948&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj_1rzQlLHNAhUHWxQKHTQBAkAQ_AUIBigB

Thanx a lot

This is Memory Stick Pro Duo and it is the same size as MS Duo, so you just need to find "2_MSDuo.STL" in the thing files (for two cards 31,3 x 20,3 mm).

Ah ok) Thanx a lot. I didn't see that lol

Thanx again :)

its possible in PLA?

I thought PLA had to be bigger, but I got my best results with scale of 99.50 with nozzle at .30 and layer height at .20. The Flashforge creator has pretty tight tolerances. Most things that fit together, generally fit loose on my printer.

Only complaint is that it prints REALLY thin. A single layer of .2mm is not enough IMHO. May remix this to something more sturdy.

Hi! Just try to print. First layer 0.2mm is enough for SD cards. If it was the holder for heavy things... like bolts or nuts, of course, it will be not enough .

What a star you are. Thank you. the longest screws at my disposal are 40mm so I will use the reader + 7.

Will wait for your print!

I would like one with card reader plus 8 slots. I have always wanted a Wenger Giant Swiss Army Knife but will have to content myself with a Giant SD card Holder Instead!

Here you are! Just need to find screw 42mm lenght.

Hi, i need an insrert with card reader + 5 slots. Can you make one, please? Thanks.

Here you are! Just need to find screw 34mm lenght.

I used Mild steel and cut them to length...

Not bad at all.
I had been playing with ideas to fix the problems with the ends twisting, but could not find a solution that was 100% expandable.
Either way good work. I may even try one myself.

Thanks! Will wait for your print.

About another solution of 100% expandable, may be good way is to print some shaft of any lenght and fixing it by screws on both sides?

This will let to insert any qty of slots. And if they would be >7pcs - insert fixing slot in center.

I had similar ideas, but also had to strike a balance with simplicity and print time.
I find that sometimes a sacrifice in structural integrity, can mean a greater popularity as people have less parts to consider.
If you want something to be world wide popular, you need to make it simple enough that "anyone" can assemble it.
but yes, some good ideas.
My second printer is still out of action, and my first is running 100% of the time printing production orders.
In addition I keep giving away my prototypes of the SD holder. I'll have a go at printing this one day lol.

I absolutely agree
