This is a brilliant design. I'd love to make something similar, but to integrate the HMDVR or Eachine ProDVR into it, so that the buttons can be pressed from front, just like the 3 button holes for the LCD. In fact, that would be a great design for the 7 inch standard LCD that many people use for FPV.

I am using an 5 Inch Screen (Blue Sky 5 Inch HD Digital Panel Display 800x480 Snowflakes Screen) and this idea is awesome.
Is this thing aviable in an 5 Inchh version too?

Maybe try scaling it? The original screen is was 4.3" I believe so scaling it by 15% should get you to 5" Just an Idea, I haven't come across the V2's yet.

Hi, how about cooling, the 305 get hot when in use on 12V., is there no problem?
Like the idea, it looks slick.

Gets warm. But to be perfectly honest I haven't tried these for FPV yet. I'm still using a monitor.

Thanks for the answer ;o)

are you sure about the wiring as shown above?

Yep, or you could just take a picture of your wiring before desoldering

Absolutely Genious, i love it

I made one. (well had it made) It's great.

Could you make another where you rotate the RC305 90 degrees so that the antenna and dip switches aim out the side instead of the top? (I only have a 90 degree antenna) Might be able to simply add the holes to the side, but may need to adjust the sloped side by the switch to make room. Already printed one of these and it works! The foam window has to be trimmed a bit so that the two foam halves can still sit flush at the seam though.

Great work and thanks!
