How long did this take to print? I am planning on using the printer at my library and the limit is two hours.

That really depends on the type of printer used, the quality setting, and the layer height. If you print at .2mm and at medium speed, it might be under 2 hours. If you print at .3mm or .4mm you would deffinetly be fine, but it won't be as strong. Make sure you orientate the parts so the layers are in the opposite direction of the stress on the part. I can also sell you one made from a resin printer for $5 plus shipping.

How can I go about buying a resin print from you? I'd love one of these mounts but don't have a printer of my own.

Click order this printed on the right hand side of the page. I'm not sure if they offer resin prints. But I'm sure if you Google it there will be a place that will make it for you. Just send them my file.

Did you make this with a resin printer and did it hold up well?

Yes. It was much stronger than the FDM one that is pictured. I used a formlabs v2 resin printer.

Will this fit the Dye i5?

I don't know, sorry.

would I be able to toss this on shapeways at no profit to myself so ballers without printers can get these?

What is shapeways?

Shapeways is an online 3D printing service. They use power based printing, Laser Sintering. They print in a huge variety of materials, people who upload items can make a small profit if someone chooses to print their model.

Thank you. I should post this on there.

Are you drilling through the top vented area? If so how sturdy is this? The vents are pretty flimsy on my i4.

Not drilling, but instead just forcing the bolts between the slits in the vents. This happens to be very sturdy. I have done quite a lot of sliding and running quickly without any issues at all.

Great, going to try it out. I'll post some images. Thanks for making this!
