I just broke my afterglow a60 headband everything still works but the headset has a removable mic do you think if I take the drives from them there is a way I can still use the mic?

Does the top gear meant to have a hole in the middle all the way through ? the stl file has the hole only on one side?

So now that we know what speakers to buy, I have to ask, where does one get those foam pads exactly? Is there a model to trace them by? can you buy such foam pads at any usual or store or is that something you have to buy off the internet?

They are currently back Amazon, you can get them here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Z9JWZI

Make sure you have selected "HPAEC440" -- this was the foam pad I designed the earcups around. I have eventual ambitions to design a TPU version... some day!

Thank you for your design I actually modified part of it to fix my Sony Bluetooth headphones.

I can't do anything with the 2 dxf files, they wont open in any program and when I try to convert them it fails no matter what I use. Are there any stl of these, as well as the scad file?

Could you please provide model numbers for all the un-printed parts? I'd like to check into the specs before I buy.

I just finished printing the headband, and I noticed that the cup pins arent centered. I am pretty sure this is because the bottom gear arm is the same part just rotated and the cup mount is offset from the center of the band so that supports arent needed. has anyone noticed the headset feeling or fitting uneven?

so far, with the exception of me using PLA and the fits/pins being REALLY hard to get in, the parts have been printing really well!

Any ETA for the BT version? I'd love to print these out in a wireless version!

Do you still have kits available, the etsy link is unavailable. Can you provide which specific drivers were used?

Ah sure thing, sorry about that!

The kit was moved to tindie:

The speaker drivers are digikey, I can dig up the model number if you'd prefer.

Good luck on the build!! I would love to see a picture :)

Also note, the cable/jack is the biggest point of failure. Nowadays I often just cut off the cable and wire the cord right to the speaker. Can't remove the cable, but I find it more reliable.

Thanks. I ordered your kit and will try it out!
