Hi, this is what i've looked for. How did you drow it? Everyone i've asked knows the math and how to make one, but not how to draw one in CAD. I'm using SolidWorks and the gear is imposible to draw.

Hi, I used Autodesk Inventor to create this geometry (there is a worm-drive tool) but I guess you can create it with standard-tricks as well; The grooves in the gear are made out of trapezoidal rotation cut-outs with the rotation axis tilted in the right manner so it fits with the calculated angles you need to mesh the gears properly. Then you copy it around.
More is difficult to explain in a Thingiverse-comment, so I guess for the rest, you have to bend your brain around on your own... Please note that the trapezoidal rotation cut-outs are just valid in this case for this particular geometry chosen for the worm. (There are many, many other worm geometries...)
