I printed this on my school's 3D printer today. Its delightful. I gave it to this cute girl I had a crush on and asked her to come to homecoming with me. She's a wonderful nerd and a future engineer, so I thought she'd really like it. She did.

Attempting to print this, rose from ninjaflex, stem from PLA, will update with results!

How did it go? I'd love to see it if it worked!

Ninjaflex failed unfortunately. I need to improve my nozzle cooling and maybe slow things down even more than I did already. I suspect where the stem enters the rose would cause some trouble because of the flexibility of the material. It would maybe need to stick into the rose further.

I was running low on time so I instead printed via PLA and it turned out great. I will have to adjust some settings and try again soon since it would be pretty sweet with ninjaflex.

Good to know. I also printed with PLA and it turned out very well. I ensured all the petals were a single layer thick for a delicate effect.
