projectearth7...can you tell me what size bolt you used in your build? Also, the design will work with the 2015 build, but it just makes it. The distance between the bolt and the microswitch lever is greater in the new version that the one you built it for. I am installing it now, and will post a picture or two when done. Nice work!

I like it, I have been having the same problem with endstops. Will try this weekend. Great designs :-)

I made a group for Sunhokey Prusa I3 3D printer owner http://www.thingiverse.com/groups/sunhokey-3d-printer-owners/members

Cheers!

Thanks a lot! This is a good upgrade for this printer. I received mine a few days ago and in general I'm happy with the product...but there are some things like stop ends and belt tensioners that need a rework. The supplier released the 2015 model with these improvements done just after I purchased the old model, but it doesn't matter thanks to people like you!

same printer, same supplier, same problems;

thank you for what you did with your improvements

if it's possible more details about power switch connection and model type

and more important what was your printer settings when you print it such as temperature, speed and material used PLA or ABS

hey i got the same printer, but just a question, did you add the power switch before or after the power supply?

I installed the power switch after the power supply.

I have a problem with the engines, Can you help me? They work all engines, the extruder motor works, but when I want to print a piece, does not send the signal to extrude.

Hey bro I've only had my printer for a month and I too am just learning. As for your problem, in all honesty, I have no idea how to help... but the Reprap community (forum) is always there to help fellow reprapers... kindly visit the forum and try to search for answers... best of luck bro.

good! it's useful to me. thanks.

Great!... you're most welcome :)

Hey what speed are you printing at with the sunhokey 50mm/sec? And does it very for pla/abs?

My speed setting depends on my layer height... through lots of trials I have come to a relative conclusion that my speed should be like the following:
Layer Height 0.1 - speed 15mm/sec or below
Layer Height 0.2 - speed 25mm/sec or below
Layer Height 0.3 - speed 35mm/sec or below

ABS/PLA same speed setting

Hope that helps :)
