I can't find the instructions on the link provided here. The forum is very interesting but pretty hard to navigate! Are instructions still available? I would really like to access them, because I am novice trying to set up this kind of system. Thank you a lot for sharing by the way- it looks brilliant!
Thank you!

We had to fight Spambots in our forum and therefore deactivated user registration for some time. However, it should be solved now and you can register.

Here is the direct link to the firmware, release 0.5

I read you have to remove the hardware auto focus of the web cam. But you can disable that auto focus in the control software. Is there any reason for this? Maybe to get a better optical zoom together with the +10 lens?

I tried to hold a 10+ lens in front of an unmodified C615. It did not magnify the object very much. But I am no optics expert. Probably there is a better solution. It always breaks my heart, if I have to modify nice hardware in such a way :(

Do you have experience with other projectors? What about Philips PPX2055 PicoPix (Kontrast 1000:1, 854x480 Pixel, 55 ANSI Lumen, USB 2.0) It is small and cheap. But I don't know if you can mount lenses.

I have not experience with other projector. The main thing isto get the focal point at the center of the turntable with macro lenses. In my case, the first macro lens is just glued to the projector. I think this should work with any hardware. You can download the CAD files on my homepage http://www.virtumake.comwww.virtumake.com and modify them as you like :)
