Where did you get a longer piece of the glass?
Able to find a longer heater?
Did you use 2 heaters, two pieces of glass?
unheated?, more details on the heated bed please..
I'm SO going to do this once I get the full picture on the bed heating..

Not a problem.

I'm hoping so. I'm having problems with my extruder at the moment, so the parts I'm printing are pretty much rough drafts. I'll be testing the design out soon, but I have a dual extruder upgrade I have to finish first. I have an idea for a support extension system, but I have to see this design first before moving forward. I should have marked this as in progress, and will do so now.

have you printed this 495mm version yet ?
I wonder if its functional as i thought in the case of 330mm.
Thanks for a remix.

I'm getting ready for it. Today's Amazon pricing (less the screws as I already have them) is US$ 62.47 for the parts. This is a PRIME price as the smooth rods and the GT2 belts are avail in Prime. I'm looking into the heating portion right now. With the days getting cooler, having printing issues so I fixed it with a 4ft x 28" 6 mil piece of plastic over the printer. Added a small piece of string to wrap around the printer's waist line with a slip knot. Wow this really works great. Just got the best PLA print I ever seen. I have the Robo3D R1 Plus. I even was able to get a couple of ABS prints to work with no lift. I think I'm actually having lifting due to too much heat as time elapses in the day. First print of the day is always perfect.
