So I got tired of punching those little things out. Lowered the build platform to the thickness of 2 pieces of paper and presto, don't need to punch those things out anymore.
Plus I noticed less warping then before when it was setup to one piece of paper height. But great design none the less.

Watch out - the new UP! Plus 2's automatic calibration puts the head quite close to the new black perf board, within the 1 sheet of paper distance and some feel it is even too close, as you say. We find it quite therapeutic punching out those little bits of plastic... I do know some people don't bother clearing out the holes at all and they seem to be printing happily enough.

This is still on my list. For me the up plus 2 does print well without clearing the holes most of the time. Recalibrating after a failed print helps most of the time. With large abs prints and open holes the object will deatch from the raft rather than from the pref board. I have yet to print this currently i hit the pref board HARD on the edge of my trash can, this dislodges enough plastic to make prints stick a litte better (wipe your fatty fingers off the board before printing)

Great idea by the way. After hundreds of uses, I realized that a nice fillet at the bottom of the palm rest might be useful. You know, for those times the entire perf board is full?

Addendum - I advise against gluing the push pin into the tool. It allows me to push so hard, I broke a push pin! LOL! It was easy enough to pull it out with pliers and insert a new one.
