log one: i printed this for my geeetech acrylic and lo and behold its not an aluminum frame.

so the frame clips have a 6.4mm opening ans the acrylic is 8mm thick. i try a heat gun first!

log two: i dunked em in boiling water for a minute. slid them in place and set with a clamp until cool. fits!

log three: ok, so i set it up right but there is too much stress with the modified(hot water bath) clips.
i will have to rework the clips to work on 8mm and also i would like it to be a bit wider too.

I just made one of these and it's working out great

I started to do something similar to this with bearings. i found that my wilson extruder body appears to have less than 1mm clearance from the frame. It would loose me about 90mm from the top of the z axis under the mounts.

What dual extruder is that?

It's an Einstein, right?

Yes, it's the old style Einstein dual extruder.
