The Christmas hat is a nice addition!

But I'm seeing holes on the left side of the hat that are messing up my slicer and settings. I'm using cura-lulzbot 3.2.27 with a Taz 6.

In addition to the holes it treats the head and hat separately as non-solid, with no infill. I've posted a picture here.

Maybe the hat is too thin on that side to be rendered by my printer?

I can work around the problem by using the Mesh Fixes -> Remove All Holes option in Cura. But then the hole at the bottom is removed and the model can't be used as a tree topper any more.

It would be great if the model itself could be fixed. Unfortunately I'm not great with editing and this model is too complex to load into a simple editor like TinkerCad (too many triangles).

i just stared at this for a few minutes then quickly closed my laptop, i was 22 when i saw this, now im 52.

Beautiful job! the details are stellar!!

Yes, sorry for the mis-attribution - I was looking at the great model, not the list of comments on it!!

Will pay more attention.

Don't blink.

Just printed this... You gave her a fine ass!

Nice job.

hello Cris,

it's not a big problem but as my models are free and open source, the credit are my only reward ... :D

i wish you happy christmas holidays and a lot of good 3d print :)

regards,

yes.. i'm the original author (not islandDan) of this model. You can take the credit for the derivative but as per the CC 4.0 international attribution that rules this model , you are obliged to give me credit as the author of the base of your model. A little 'derived from fantasygraph model' or 'Base by fantasygraph' can give you my respect, and let you on the white side of the law.
thank you for understanding my position.

Nice re-mix 3DMigos. I think attribution should be given to Fantasygraph for the original Dr. Who Wheeping Angel http://www.makershop.co/shop/fantasygraph/item/dr-who-wheeping-angel
