What size screws do you need?

Hi, can you please add a STL for 40mm fan duct? Original fan is 30mm one.
Thank you !!

very good accessory. It prevents air from heatsink to flow aroud the part.
Specialley useful to reduce ABS warping.

What do you mean by "drafts" I'm not really sure what this dose.

A breeze, wind flow, movement of air past the ABS part which could cause warping.

I have also had some issues slicing this. The new version of slic3r also makes holes, instead of 1 line perimeter, next to the screw hole. I had to use slic3r version 1.1.7 to get it right. I like the design though. Cheers

It worked great with a 40mm fan when I scaled it up to 133%. I did still have the holes when slicing with cura and a .4mm nozzle though.

When I sliced with Cura, I also had holes. However, with slic3r there are no holes.

I had some issues with slicing this in CURA.

The part where the screws are next to the cone it would create a small hole in the cone.
I guess this has to do with the thickness of the wall compared to my nozzle thickness.

I'm still using it and it does one hell of a good job!

Hey! The wall thickness at that location is only 1 perimeter thick when sliced with Slic3r. I have a 0.4mm diameter nozzle, printed this part at 0.2mm layer height. The photo shows that area with some translucency at only 1 perimeter.

Glad you like it :)
