It uses a little less plastic at 3mm thick and 15mm tall as opposed to 5mm and 20mm. It also protrudes a little further to allow for a slightly wider range of tilt. The bracket that I've attached to the LCD case mounts to the outside of the bracket that attaches to the printer to give it more horizontal coverage/stability for the LCD case. This also allowes for a cross member for the inner bracket, which has the longer arms, to give it a little more rigidity.
All holes are 4mm which easily allow the use of M3 bolts without widening the holes due to any over extrusion. There is also a 0.1mm gap allowance between the inner and outer brackets where they attach to each other.
I used 6 M3 socket heads with washers with the heads of the bolts on the inside of the printer casing, the inside of the LCD case, and the inside of the bracket to allow for the nuts to be easily accessed for tightening.
