With a 3D printer, making a Gundam Stand with variable angle is easy.
However, seems that it is not available in Thingiverse.
This one is designed so that the length of stand and the angle of stand can be adjusted easily. Moreover, I tried to minimize the number of screw required.
Only two piece of M3, 1cm screw is required:
- screw for trapping the arm to its base
- screw for trapping the top to extender
More different kinds of Top module for different kinds of Gundam model is going to be designed and uploaded.

Updated at 03-Nov-2014:
Uploaded "Parallelgram_Base" part. With a trade-off of larger size, it is able to support a really low angle without falling over, and better for Action posture.
Updated at 02-Nov-2014:
Uploaded V4.1 "ARM" part, added a stopper structure for stopping the "Holder" part from sliding downward.
Updated at 29-Oct-2014:
- Added a "Holder" Part, for additional support to force the arm and extender together.
- Changed the "Stand" part, so that all holes are verital
Print with PLA, with 0.1mm layer height
Use 100% infill for the Holder Part, 20% infill for others
Please aware that holes on "Extender" and "Stand" parts are all 2.5mm. This is designed so that you can use a screw trap or tapping screw for holding parts together.
Parts that cannot be 3d Printed include:
- M3 screw
- Super Glue (just in case)
Recommend to have the following tools:
- M3 screw trap
- M3 Drill
- M3 screw driver
