Kobo mini (5"), scaled the length down to 100mm, works fine.

Works great for my LG G6, using the following settings:
_thickness = 3
_curvature = 75
_length = 143
_height = 24.0
_clip_angle = 110
_clip_radius = 5

anybody have good settings for iPad mini?

For the iPhone 6 and 6s these settings work:
_thickness = 3
_curvature = 96
_height = 24.0
_clip_radius = 2.5
_clip_angle = 102
_length = 130.0
These setting also work with a rhinocase on

Got it to work for a Nvidia Shield K1, in PLA with 100% infill, using these parameters:

_length = 205.0;
_height = 24.0;
_curvature = 90;
_thickness = 3;
_clip_radius = 4.6;
_clip_angle = 120;

hi. simple and seemingly effective. well done.

one question, I want it for my ipad air, how do I get it to fit? I don't want to print and waste filament, its not my machine so I want to just print it once correctly, does anyone know the most effective dimensions?
thanks allot.

my bad, both files are there. thanks.

You could make this using a 'strip heater' and a strip of acrylic. Tricky to get the tight radius at each end, use a metal wire in a vice, but doable. Certainly a lot quicker!

I used this clip as the basis for a mount for a phone I am going to use as a webcam. I found that when printing with ABS, at 50% fill, I only needed to make it about 5 mm shorter than the measured width of the phone. It provides a nice snug fit but it doesn't feel like I am going to crack it when I put it on or take it off. I used the default setting of 3 mm thickness since I wanted it to be sturdy, but I think a 2 mm thickness would be better if you are using it as it is intended.

Does anyone know how to scale this model to fit an original HTC ONE phone?? I use my phone a lot on the road to watch NETFLIX and it gets to be a literal pain in the wrists to hold it all the time while watching. If anyone can help me it would be great...If you do, please let me know what settings to give to the friend who will be printing it for me.

The default stl for phones works great with my Nexus 4! I have printed it with PLA, 0.3mm layer, 2 shells, 20% infill. Thank you for this simple yet elegant and functional design!

Beautiful and simple design. Unfortunately, it does not keep my iPads in place. It bends too much. Perhaps I need to print it with more shells and more infill.

Newsflash! A model of bent plastic is now a patent! Anyone else including said bent plastic must cease and desist or pay the proper royalties!

Unless he is selling it and making money off of it, there is no violation of any sort.

This is in violation of a patent.

Lol, thingiverse is a violation to patents, but we're all still here aren't we?

For my Samsung Galaxy S5:

Printing as-is, the original snapped (ABS, .25mm, 10% infill)

Scaled up by 1.1 (10% increase), increased to 50% infill and it fits well with or without a case.

Very clever.. Thank you.

Thanks for this. The stand with your original measurements is great for Nexus 7(old).
I have customized this for my Note 10.1 2014 tablet here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:553327

My Note10.1 2014 Stand

How stable is the clip, doesnt it slide up and down when placed in a standing position?

The clip is pretty stable. The tension keeps it well enough in place, at least for sitting on my desk.

This is a really elegant and simple solution.
Some presets on the Customizer would make it better still.
Perhaps the community can feed back some settings to make this possible,

Hmm my phone rolls around alot with this on.
