That is such an awesome sculpture!

...WHOA DUDE, where/what is this from?!

So cool! I would love to use your dragon in a dragon chess set I'd like to make, but I wanted to ask your permission since I intend to sell copies of the chess set.

Ok! Permission only for you. do want to show the chess game here on Thingiverse?

What I want is your permission to print and sell copies of it (your dragon scan). I am not interested in posting the chess set on Thingiverse.
Thank you. :)

If you'd like a copy of the set, I will make you one for a discounted rate, since you are generously donating your scan to my project. :) It has actually become an Asian Chess set, as I couldn't find enough dragons I liked. The King and Queen will be dragons. Your Dragon I was hoping to get for my queen... not quite Asian looking, I know, but not too specific either... she'll look nice with the rest of the set at any rate. The Bishops will be Tanuki, the knights Maneki-Neko/Lucky Cats, the Rooks Fu Dogs, and the pawns origami-styled cranes.

If you don't care about my smoothing and painting it I'll print you a copy for free. Smoothing and Painting it would be extra b/c it's a lot of work. :)

ok , I give you my permission to sell copies of my Dragon scan .
I would appreciate a copy of the set - of course I 'm going to smooth the characters themselves .
Good luck in print!

Thanks! I'll go ahead and print you a set once it's all ready (and you can smooth and paint them).

You can message me on my website and tell me where to send it: http://www.whiteeyecreations.com/contact-the-author--store.html

I bought it in Hungary long ago. He originally held a globe in his left hand just like her.

Awesome dragon! I love it! I have a similar one sitting behind me but it's black and the left hand is holding a globe with a light in it. I really like yours though. Where did you get it?

That's a really good scan for a Kinect. Did you use a Kinect 2.0? What software did you use the capture this?
Oh and how large was the original model? Thanks for sharing.

This was scanned with a good old Kinect V1 from Xbone 360.
Software is Recfusion .
The scan was taken at turntable, 6 Rounds and scan the Holes seperatly with handhold für Kinekt.
The original is about 80cm high.
Have fun by printing; -)
