some parts are too small for kids and perhaps file the edges for smoothness but good job :) Keep up the good work!

I was looking for a connector that will work fine with my pieces. This one is perfect!

These are great. So far, I have printed one short straight section and a connector. The connector needed a bit of sanding to fit properly, so I might take a shot at a modified version. Sharing the OpenSCAD files as well as the STLs is fantastic- thank you for that!

Part 4 printed oddly for me, instead of the tracks crossing each other they had large amounts of material around the intersections, blocking the tracks.

thanks again, and sorry for being slow to react. I'm not sure exactly what caused the problem, but I could reproduce it here. after a bit of refactoring of the code for part 4, it now slices and prints fine (slic3r 0.9.8). so I updated the scad file and the stl for part 4, and also uploaded a photo of the printed part.

btw I hope you always check your gcode (for example by using repetierHost) before printing something..?

You did a phenomenal job on the SCAD files! No shortcuts here: You have every little bevel and detail that the commercial tracks do, constants for everything, and enough functions to make any kind of track!

I had one problem:
I had to change the connector hole to be perfectly round or some of my tracks would not fit. I have a mix of a few different brands of tracks. Thing 15165 didn't fit either until I did this. It all worked out when I removed these 2 lines from module connector():
translate([-CONN_WIDTH/2,CONN_DEPTH,0])
cube([CONN_WIDTH, CONN_DEPTH, 10*HEIGHT]);

I also modified brick_6 to support making short curved+straight tracks, which is the holy grail of my track track setup! I'll post a derivative with pictures shortly.
