prints perfectly (I use a brim). Love them, thank you very much!

This is really cool thanks !!

Perfect for New Year celebrations with geeky Star Wars fans

This doesn't print good at all. I don't know how you were able to since I seen the pictures that of the finished piece.

Hi ScottieD369, it's not much polite substituting your previous comment asking for details about glow-sticks I used (which I answered lower without any further comment from you) with a generic complaint about not being able to print my parts.
As it's an editing I had not been even noticed about your complaint and it could have rested unanswered for a very long time...

If you could detail what are your isssue I could try to help you.
Actually all of my parts printed flawlessly with PLA. Remember to use the fan as they are small parts, otherways they'll surely melt.
They have a small base, hence brim is surely needed and a heated bed or other simple techniques to improve adhesion could help if brim alone were not enough. Of course they should be printed with the base like they appear in the Thingiverse 3D images.

Or maybe it's just a hint that you need to better trim your printer ;-)

May the glow-stick saber be with you!

I don't know what their problem was, but for me in Simplify3D the holes for the glow sticks are slicing as 100% filled in.

Strange, sliced with both Cura and Repetier (Slic3r) with no issue.
Unfortunately I'm not using Simplify3D so I'm not able to replicate the issue.

It's around 20 cm (204 mm) and 5 mm dia. Usually is sold to make bracelets.
There are plenty on the net.
As far as Iknow is nearly a standard and the only one of this kind that you can find.

Haven't tried any of the link I posted, search yourself and find the ones that best fit you. I found mine in a DIY Italian store.

Happy new lightsaber year!
