The problem with our LARGE printers is that the bowden tube is extremely long. This leaves too much room for error in retractions and primes. I could not find a good solution other than going direct drive. With this extruder relocation arm you are able to reduce the size of the bowden by about 5 inches (see photo) which drastically improves retractions and priming. You are not putting any more weight on the hotend like direct drive extruders resulting in less ringing.
Almost the best of both worlds like a hybrid extruder. Originally designed for a cr-10s S4. I print with a .8 nozzle and found that there was no sweet spot for zero oozing for a near flawless print (dependant on pla brand). This has solved all my issues and the bowden is now comparable to my Ender 3.
