★★★★★Nice recycle idea ! Tx for sharing !★★★★★

reminds me of the Pogs tubes. LOL

What about the heavy cardboard tubes that carpets are shipped around? Also, you might be able to adjust the sizes of the caps for mailing tubes.

Great ideas. Drop on a comment with any desired diameters and I'll post some adjusted files.

great idea, however my hook also did not hold. but still was able to use thank you

I will post some replacement clips you can print and add to the caps.

Great Idea! I think I will mix it up and use the clear plastic florescent bulb guards :-)

Nice! You have me thinking about other "tubes"...

Wow! I have only seen the clear at places like Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace, but they come in a rainbow of colors :-) https://www.1000bulbs.com/category/fluorescent-tube-guard-sleeves/

Thanks for sharing this neat design.

We printed two in PLA and the hooks popped off when the elastic (or rubber band) was placed on them.

Is that because PLA is just not the correct material for this type of print? Or maybe it's something about my particular spool of filament?

Anyone else have problems with hooks popping off?

Thanks for any help!

I didn't have that issue, but I will post some replacement clips you can print and add to the caps.

try printing at a higher temp... it sounds like your layers are not bonding tightly...

so simple yet so brilliant.

I use an elastic to mark the place where I want to cut, I use a pencil to trace along the elastic, and then I just use an X-Acto knife to make the cut along the line.

more can be done to cover the cans of drinks

I added a remix.

Drink can covers, Love it! Good idea.

Terrific idea! I've always hated just throwing rolls like these in the recycle bin. Do you have a suggestion about how to easily cut the rolls without crushing them?

I would probably make a small incision with a exacto blade, then slide a tip of the scissor blade in and start cutting.

Brilliant idea! Well done.

Definitely my Thing of the week!

Cool idea! Need to print a few.
