me parece espectacular el blaster, has pensado en hacer el gatillo movil, seria perfecto

Estoy buscando el tiempo de hacer una versión definitiva, con unos upgrades incluyendo el gatillo movil :)

I just finished printing this item.

Hi Straeker.. great work with the design! I am a complete newby to 3d printing and part way through printing the parts for the blaster on a CR10. When I print the body (which prints upside down per the stl) and add a raft or brim, it only puts the raft under the rear end of the body meaning the longer thin barrel end has no brim/raft and hence is not level with the rear section. I can't get it to apply a raft to the entire piece. Any hints as to whether this is a problem with Cura (meaning me the operator...). Others have printed it so after any clues what I might be doing wrong... thanks in advance.

Please download again that single file, It was misaligned, it should not present problem now, please tell me how it goes :)

Thanks again. That fixed it. I need to work on the supports now... coming out a little dense and they are hard to remove. Always something to learn... kind regards

Thanks for the quick response! Have a few parts for the blaster printing now so will give it another go later tonight/tomorrow. Kind regards

Hey Straeker, loving this model, thank you for making this! I have it all printed and having an issue I'm hoping you can help me with.

When I have the Blaster_Cannon and Blaster_Body_Top, the Blaster_Sight_1 is not fitting between the backplate of the Body_Top and the notch on Cannon. It seems like the backplate on Body_Top has a notch for Sight_1 to fit, but it is not wide enough.

I'm thinking it just requires a little filing to make that notch bigger to fit the Sight_1, but was hoping you could either confirm that or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks so much and keep up the excellent work!

Great job it printed really well...Anyone found a stand that works for this? I am trying this one just wanted to know if anyone has spotted any others. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4084532/files

The Mandalorian Blaster Stand

Nice model, came out pretty well, Thanks!

Very excited, printing this right now! only have the grips and greeblies left before assembly (this is my first 3d print project EVER!)

Question - any suggestions for adding weight to prints? I know I could increase the infill %, but I'm unsure how that would affect it. Thinking mainly the handle could benefit from some increased weight.

@Straeker, do you have a pic of the left side of the blaster? I didn't read the comments and printed all the greeblies, so i'm trying to figure out which ones I don't need. Thanks ...loving how it's looking so far though

I've uploaded the other side's picture!!

Thanks!!

I want to print this for a project but I'm a bit confused. I saw that you made some updates and i think some of the old files are still there. So the only parts I don't need are some of the greeblies?

Yes that's correct, the files uploaded right now even when have the old names are the final ones already updated shapes and all, and yes, some greeblies has no use now, thanks!!

Just my luck I print the body the day before you update it. Thanks for continously improving the files though! To confirm, the small cylinder piece in greeblies part 1 is no longer needed because it is part of the handle greeblies, right?

Yep, that is correct, Thanks!!

What's the outer diameter of the barrell?

Hi,
Could you add the step files so i can add some little things to make it easier to glue together? (my glue is trash and i have nothing to keep the parts together while it drys)

This is a great file! Just more of a general question though - why are pegs not also designed into the files, for at least most of the parts? Wouldn't it make things easier to put together in the end?

Hello,
Could you post a picture with a scale? Or perhaps a link to the article you found measurements in?

As you may figure it out, there is not a Blueprint for the original Bergman 1894 Pistol, or at least I do not have acces to one, so in this article:

https://www.forgottenweapons.com/bergmann-1894-no-1-pistol/

scroll down and you'll find the overal leght for the swiss model (1894 model) that's the only reference I could find, the rest of the measurements i figure it out with a lot of reference pictures.

On that same site there are good video reviews of this firearm, I took screenshots and make the measurements!!

hope this help you out!

love the model, looks great. would love some registration points between body_top and blaster_cannon - keeping blaster cannon from rolling during glue up was a significant challenge :(

thank you for your work on this model!

Is this file 1:1? Or do you recommend upsizing it a bit?

One of the best 3D models I've seen so far of the blaster, great job!

Hi, well I've taken the measurements from an article about the Bergman Pistol, but I guess you could upsize it if that will fit your hand better.

Who will notice? ;)

Thanks for your appreciation!!

Full blaster file is now uploaded!! Enjoy your print!!

Regards!!

I will, thank you!

Will you post a model that is fully assembled?

I've just uploaded, happy printing!! do not forget to share some pictures!!

hello,

I am having problems printing off the berg cannon, is there any reason why when printing vertically it only wants to print the top and the bottom? Or sideways it skips the entire core.

Thank you for your time

love this, trying it as my first major project. I do wish there was an exploded view to more clearly see part placement, but I seem to be figuring it out alright so far.

I saw that you've finished your print, it looks great!! Thanks for posting!!

have you got a file of the whole gun put together or one part?

Hey man, love this. I would love to sell this on my shop but I see you put non-commercial. I want to respect your licensing so I would like to talk to you about buying a commercial license off you if you're interested. Email me at rowdypeasants[at]gmail.com. Look forward to hearing from you.

I'll send you a msj. Thanks!!

That was quick! Are you printing one?

Hi, not soon I'm afraid, very busy working on the rifle!! :)

Also currently printing and can't wait to rub'n'buff it! I woke up with a mission to model the pistol and decided last second to check for any nice files out there and luckily found yours! Thank you for your contribution! Will post makes when ready

Thank you!! give a try to model it anyway, the more versions the better!! do not forget to post some pictures!!

This is awesome! Have about 1/2 of it printed thus far. One thing I would say though it that some of the smaller greeblies (the super small buttons) will be super hard to print on a FDM printer. I am printing them on a resin but just thought I would throw it out there. Might be better off adding them to the body itself.

Thank you!! actually all the greeblies were thinked to be resin printed, if I include the really tiny into the body they will not print fine, but if you print the body without the tiny it loos ok.

Dude you continue to rock, I have two nearing 100% printed and I'm looking forward to finishing them reaaaaaaally nice :)

Thanks!! Don't forget to post some pictures!! :)

i love it..do you have a full model of it that is in parts tho? does that make sense ? i want to mod a few parts and want a full version that i can do that and then take apart...i love it, just needs a few small mods..i already made a plug adapter to attach the barrel to the barrel end part, so they go together easier..
unless you have the time to make a few small mods..?? im limited at what i can do ..lol
like these two parts could be easier to put together with a hole inside, so they line up easier...just some suggestions to make it even better..
thanks!
