I liked this idea to use one string instead of 4

Levitating Strings

Recommend printing at 1.5x.

You can easily connect it up using 1 continuous string: alternate between corners and edges of each opposing triangle.
Can have string running back and forth either 3 or 6 (more stable) times (excluding center).

Strings need to be 1x35mm and 3x88mm.

Do those lengths include the string used to make the knots, or are those the final lengths between the plastic, or are they the final lengths to the outside of the plastic?

Hey there!

In your description "Supports: No" - how should I place it then ? ;-)

Hi,

just place the complete triangle to the print bed. Like the lower part is placed on the photo.

Thanks for reply,

In this case part from attached screenshot will fail to print. Unless it doesn't really matter?

That is exactly how I printed it, even on my small fdm printer. Maybe in your case it would be better to use support then.

can your printer print in mid-air too? :) tension? :)

Hmm.. I will try with supports first. And I mean printers usually can't print in the air, hence I asked about this small part. I'm using FDM printer as well.

Good luck printing the two parts. Don´t forget to post your make here, for the case your print succeeds:)
