Hi again,
I'am about to wiring this hub to the nextion screen and rgb led also with a gx12 connector for my gt3 wheel

I did a really quick sketch , forgive me if it's not clean enough
but can you tell me if i'm wrong or good to go?

basically I want power source from a 5v external my nextion screen+ led (one usb) and a gx12 (my wheel ) and from the display going to my PC

I'm not sure if I can split one + and - to add to the extra 5v power input on the usbhub2 board? or do I need a second usb from the power hub?
Thanks
Chris

No, that's not how this is supposed to work. It's not a "multi USB" hub. All it does is add extra power (5v) to a wheel. Nothing else.

I'll throw-up a diagram for you in a moment..

Ah ok! cool, yeah I already see this diagram for your Porsche wheel design witch make since because you have everything inside the wheel hub from an usb hub and a gx12 connector , but where I'm confused is because I want make a display dash +led and a separate wheel hub connected together...
on your display dash screen design you have a usb connector input not a gx12 :)

so I might need to make a custom cable for the display then
thank you!!

So, if you want them to be separate, you'll have to keep them separate. Trying to combine them complicates it too much.
This box was designed for "all in one wheel". Not separate.

Unless you plan on putting a Yoctopuce hub inside the box.... but then your on your own with that, because I didn't design it for that scenario. It would be an interesting idea, but I'm not sure why you'd do that, when you could just use a regular powered USB hub.

Is that a Mercedes or mclarn new style F1 wheel? Any chance of putting the files up for that, there are no new style F1 wheels on thingverse

Hey, you've got a great selection of designs and I'll be printing a few off shortly as I await the delivery of my Simucube 2 :)
Question - what wheel is that in the 3rd picture? It appears to have a clutch and F1 style shifters. Is that a new design you're working on by chance? :D

Yep, new design in progress. Clutch/Shifter/etc are all fully operational. Clutch is a Hall effect sensor. Stay tuned

Hey,
I notice another angle of the F1 style wheel has appeared in your latest component (8020 cup holder) - it looks great - any news on it? It looks stunning! :D

Thanks

That's the prototype, I'm busy making improvements to it at the moment to allow a bigger selection on switches to be used, which is more difficult than you might think haha

wow...wow!! man I just love your stuff...you are like Amstudio on youtube for me, you give a lot of details and it strait forward
please keep up , you should start doing your own chanel on youtube, like fusion 360 design tutorials, 3d print to assembling.
thank you!
Chris

PS:I'm doing a remix of your Nextion Dash and led for CNC aluminium/carbon plate cut
I will post soon

That's very kind of you, thank you

I look forward to seeing your remix!
