how can i buy the pcb?

Geir,
Will you upload the PCB file of the paste dispenser?
data

Geir,

I need a couple of these if not more. Will you be making any more PCBs in the near future? I did not see a Gerber file on the github account. Any chance you would make more, or you would give me the pcb file? Until I found this I was going to add a whole setup with a compressor and a dispenser. This is brilliant.

Hi. Nice device. I have ordered motors and coupling on Ebay. Can you share a schematic?

Have you thought about a battery operated version?

There is a voltage regulator and a reverse voltage protection on the PCB so using a 6-12V battery should be no problem. The motor only draws about 300mA

How do you keep the nut from coming out when in reverse? Do you just glue it in?

You can also have an embedded nut (stop the printing at a certain height, place the nut and continue the printing) or use a heat threaded insert like the design here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1119914 . Both option require a change in the design of the plunger rod.

Also, with sufficient friction between the rubber sealing and the cylinder, this can work just as well without the two metal guides.

What's the 2nd button do?

There is one button for the forward motion and one for reverse.
The second button also doubles as at 'turbo' (I use the term turbo in the broadest sense :-) ) So if you hold the forward button and then press the second button the plunger will move faster. This is handy when you have loaded the syringe with solder paste.
I use the reverse to pull the plunger back and fill the syringe from the end as this guy illustrates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EAbOFfHvNU

Do you have it programmed to automatically reverse a little bit when you let go of the forward button so paste doesn't keep coming out from the residual pressure.

I tried that but you need to somehow pull the 'cap' back and not just release the pressure on it, so I just keep it flowing and dabbing the solder pads. It works quit good.

It's been over a week now and have heard nothing of my order. You have been reported to Tindie and Paypal.

I think that is rather harsh as this is the first I have heard of your problems.
I only had 4 PCB's to sell of the first batch and they have all been shipped. Please bear in mind that I live in Norway so the shipping would take 10-14 days to the US.

Just purchased the board. I will update when it's built and tested. Thanks again for the design.

I would be interested in a PCB. But would be nice if you gave some instruction on how to assemble this. I don't see any type of screw to push a plunger.. Or maybe I don't see how it works.. It is late..

The first link that he gave shows that it has a screw/slider mechanism. It could probably be built easily from the information he gives.

Thanks, now I see it.
