Did anyone need supports for this?

Is there any chance this might be made available in pieces for a smaller bed printer?

great work! what software do you use to create these awesome rock like structures?

Dyntopo sculpting in Blender

ah very cool, thank you!

Makers Muse brought me here! This is so cool. Thanks!

I have issues with the dragon lock version. The spot where 2 tiles would attach is where you have no clip holes. You could have a single tile clipped in the centre, but not 2 tiles side by side.

Oh, I did that with all of them (openlock, infinitylock), I assumed people would want 1 floor behind it and walls on either side. Not blowing out immediatly since there's no way to attach walls to the side.

I could add more clip holes, but it would fundamentally alter the design to make it so walls can come off the sides.

Basically your usage I didn't predict. I think I assumed that the entrance would go straight into a tunnel, not a room.

I'll have to thing about what I can do to make this more room friendly.

I’ll add some photos shortly of what I mean and what the spacing looks like.

I thought it was intended as a double tile based on the extra clip holes on it but didn’t realize until it was printed that they don’t line up. Here are a bunch of photos and the “hallway” I was added it on, not just a single hall.

Could I just lower the cave_entrance.inch.squares.stl by -6mm z-index, print it and put the base.plain.square.inch.4x2.magnetic.openlock below it? Would it work that way to combine it with the other openforge_2_0 tiles?

Love it - is it possible to have a base with your fabolous magnet solution too?

I'm hoping for the same thing.

The troll side of me though wants to post a picture of the cave with a magnet taped on to the side of it, because as awesome as Devon is at putting this stuff together I figure that's as close as we're going to get for a while (because of time).

It's a lot harder on this one. I'll experiment, but short of needing to make the overhang just have supports, it's not easy to solve for.

Very cool - Thanks for this!
