So I am trying to figure out if I need to reprint the katana grip or the trigger/arm/pusher?

I printed the recoil version of the pusher mount and noticed that it doesn't fit the talon version of the pigeon grip. I'm wondering it I can cut out a slot in the pusher mount to make it fit. Because i not really a fan of the geared blow-back.

Cutting a slot should be totally fine, there's not much going on in the bottom. I'm assuming that the mag release doesn't fit. This was something that I thought was fully universal between the two, and I'll get sorted right away.

Thanks, and yes the mag release is whats blocking the pusher mount along with the wall where the springs for the mag release sits.

I haven't been getting emails, but I see. So what is the length of your dart? The system was designed to fire 36mm darts, but if they're shorter, like sweet oranges, they probably won't get pushed quite far enough to fire. If your darts are that long, I'll take a look at the files again and see what I can do.

They are cut down elites, I left my calipers in the shop so I'll get back to you on size.

I need a reply ASAP!!

I realized after occasionally revving the gun for about a minute that the shell was getting hot through the top of the grip, the motors were are now too hot to touch so immediately disconnected the battery, and I took apart the blaster to lay it on the floor. I also noticed that even though the flywheel cage didn't change in crush, elites won't feed through it anymore....

I am utterly confused cause I tested it before I put it together and the elites fed fine and the motors didn't heat.

Using a 3s lipo that was balaced charged and wire that came with the 7.1 kit as well as the motors from the 7.1 kit.

I will post pictures of wiring momentarily...

I've tested with a multi meter, no shorts.

the battery seems fine too

Motors are backwards smh..........

Just a btw, the new pusher isn't compatible with the pusher arm. I did a small bit of dremeling and it was fine but you might want to test it out and see for yourself.

Love your designs, keep it up!!

For the flywheel cage, top slide, and the pusher mount, what orientation should I print it in.

Everything is uploaded in the proper printing position. There will be supports on a lot of the parts.

Hi, Heath. If I was going to be using the Tacbox anyway, would it be wise to remove a portion of the frame to accommodate thicker lipo packs or other stuff?

That would probably, but I don't think you'll get much more battery space without carving out the tacbox some too. I'd also recommend leaving a little material in the front of the frame so that it won't have any possibility of moving or anything. I'd just make sure you measure how much more space you actually need. It's pretty low battery consumption, so you could use a pretty small battery if you had one.

Gotcha. Thanks for the tips! :)

How does the mag work with a drum spring? I've never made my own mags before, and I want to understand how to do it before I spend a bunch of time on it.

I actually have yet to make one with a drum spring, so I can't say. I think they just go into a slot though

Also, what is the difference between the recoil blowback and lever blowback? Which one is snappier?

Lever has the most travel, and is just that the slide moves with the trigger. The recoil actually has a snap, where it releases after the trigger has moved a certain amount. The recoil is a TON snappier.

Awesome thanks. By the way, what are the different lengths of the screws on the parts list? The only lengths you give are the m2x4 mm ones. also, have you found a spring that works for the slide?

WHY does everyone keep trying to kill my wallet?

Will you make a video overview of this soon?

I plan to very soon. Honestly that's been in the works foreeever but it's difficult to get right.
