Mounting plate that hooks to end of spool holder on Prusa MK3 and positions camera with view of print bed while staying out of the way of the printer. I have used it for over 6 months with no issues.
No supports needed, I modeled in the one you would need already. I used PLA at first but the computer got too hot and warped it over time so I switched to PETG and printed it again.
Glue the section highlighted in blue to the underside of the mounting plate. For PETG I have found that superglue doesn't hold so I use WeldOn. Mount Raspberry Pi 3B to the top through the posts and slip on the tapered buttons onto the posts to keep it in place. For the camera I always use the 5MP version 1.3 cameras because they are cheap on ebay. The camera lens press fits into the carriage here and the angle points it toward the center of the print bed.
I have used Octoprint on multiple printers. I have found that it functions much better from a Pi 3B than a PiZero. I like a top down view and I wanted a mount that got the camera further from the print bed than a frame mounted option would allow. I designed this to slide onto the end of the spool holder to give it height at keep it away from other moving parts.
