I printed the model sliced with Sic3r Prusa edition on my Prusa Mk3 and it had the flat sides for the circle that others had noted. And I also noticed some artifacts with the circle where it wasn't printing as a perfectly round circle. It was like segments or the circle were printed as somewhat flat sections. I do most of my modeling for functional parts in FreeCad daily builds and I had seen something like that depending on what option I pick for generating the mesh to be exported to STL. So I recreated a version of this from scratch in FreeCad. and generated the mesh as I usually do (using the "Standard" option in FreeCad. My version printed perfectly. The circle is perfectly round. If I get a chance I may post my version in a couple of days. But it really is a simple model to create. I may also try to generate the mesh from the Blender file or SCad. Haven't looked at those yet, but maybe I can generate the mesh from one of those without the circle artifacts. Still it is a useful model for a test.

I noticed that one picture shows a circle with four flat sides. The other show a true circle within a square. Which is the correct image? I printed one out on my FFPro and it came out with four flar size. I wondered what that was indicative of. Thanks for the work that you've done on this.

Should be a true circle, but the actual slicing may make it less so.

I don't recall the size dimension for the circle. The idea is that you get your x and y sizes correct, and the circle should be perfectly round. The circle just makes things plainer to the eye.

I didn't see a size dimension for the circle. Mine is 104.4mm what is is suppose to be or what are others getting?

Thank you for adding the dimensions. I can now calculate for shrinkage, for some reason no one else I've found listed that info. Nice work!
