What is Space_Beta for? Does it hold all other spacers?

Just abspace to hold things in place a bit more of you store vertically.

Nice design! I am wondering how this does when the box is vertically stored?
Would something covering that channel in the middle help at all?

All compartments are snugly positioned so it should be fine, but I haven't tried it. Will test a bit.

I went ahead and printed it and stood it up vertically, everything seems to be held in place well.

I'd try printing https://www.thingiverse.com/download:6922918 with a very low infill % and no top skin. It is inverted and should hold things in place better stored verticaly, yet is removable to get tays out.

Yah, nothin fell loos when I tired, but due to the overall weight the box wasn't staying supper closed tight. Maybe a second support piece to slide in once all the pieces are in to keep the trays in place would help.

I printed that beta spacer it was a tad too tall, I am reprinting now and I lowered the z axis to 60% of the total. I found that everything fit but it caused box lift. So I measured and it was roughly 2 cm taller than the trays. Total height was 4.8. So it came to around 40% too much. I am printing it again with 5% infill. I will report back when it is done.

Never mind... After further inspection it was being hung up by the trays. The new spacer you created has to be inserted first then the two top trays that way everything slides in nice and snug. Great job on the spacer design. I would consider adding it to over all plans for this"thing".

Which new pieces have you added? I can see that some of them are the same ones. Thank you!

They are all modified in some way, mostly for sizing, with the sole exception of the Discovery/Decoration compartment.

Nice job pynej!! I figured you'd have to pretty much reprint all the parts to make the expansion fit. Is there room for all the current promos? If I recall correctly, the original decorations container from tvkili's fantastic design was one tile short from holding the Sierra West promo.

I don't have any of those. Most compartments are exactly sized for the most part. I didn't change the decorations/discovery piece. Those look like there is room for a few more discovery tiles but not decorations.

Most compartments should be extended down more to hold more tiles and/or the container made taller and spacer blow shrunk. (This is essentially what I did to do the redesign for the expansion) There is also extra space between the trays in the middle for extra stuff, though that's not ideal.

For being relatively new, this game has a lot of extra content. The extra space is probably just the best way to deal with unpredictable (mini) expansion.
