I spend a ton of money and time on atempts (2 major) to make the cr**est 3D printer in the world work "good"... I get a MK2S about a year ago, and I like it a lot. So I'm going to turn it into a MK2S clone with bigger build volume (I get non-printed parts from aliexpress). I hope now that will make it a good printer.
Pretty much just the frame, some bolts and 3 stepper motors are now left from the K8200 :D Original Prusa MK2S printed parts will fit, I'm going to use MK2.5S extruder.
10.8.2019 - Now this is just a pack of printed parts made to fit the original MK2S printed parts.
1.10.2019 - Update v0.2 for Z-axis mounts (UL UR LL LR), they now have holes for M3 nuts. Electronics plate had problems in not published 1st version and v0.2 isn't tested, but it should work with this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3189775
I'm going to use this bear X-axis parts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3226689
This LCD enclosure should work (but it is not perfect for my printer enclosure): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2031874
This Octoprint camera mount works good: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:536828
Right now it is running, but i need to set up bed leveling properly.
And it seems like the Y home position isn't right or i don't find the right spots when fixing the frame :D
Still a load of stuff need to be done...
- ABS or PETG
Models are not oriented for printing, find the best position. Most models do not need supports, but some do...
