Shouldn't 4x 80W PCBs give you a total of 320W, not 360W? That'd put you at 97% of total predicted output, that's not bad.

Yes and No :), the point is that when you design a heated bed the cooper resistance change with temperature must be taken into consideration. My aim was to design it for about 80W / module @ 60 degrees this means a resistance about 1.8 ohm. Therefore at room temperature the resistance would decrease and the total power would be about 360W resulted from 1.6 ohm resistance @ 25 deg. Now the point is that I ended up at about 1.8 ohm already at room temperature therefore at 60 deg the power is actually below 300W :(.
Nevertheless thanks for pointing out the mistake in my explanations.

Gotcha :) Getting deep into the conductivity factor. Suppose you need to if you want to shoot for 100° plus though.

Thanks for the build info. I'll have to look back at this when I'm ready to go bigger than 300x300. Definitely seems like a more cost effective route
