This Dust Filter for Creality Ender 3 is made to be attached between the filament motor and the PTFE screw. Especially for those, like me, who haven't the place anywhere else!
No need to detach it to change the filament.
Compatible with 2.85 and 3 mm filament.
Be careful, you'll need the flex adapter to print with flex filament!
Why the Flex adapter? As the filament is pushed and not pulled. Without a good enclosure around a flex filament, this one writhing in every way.
Also, with that adapter there is less filtering, but this is still there.
You can keep it in place for any other filament.
- Strongest locking.
- Added Flex filament adapter, in files.
. The STL seems to not be in the right direction, just rotate it to have the two flat surface in contact with the printing bed (see the screenshot above).
. For the support: its only needed for the two little "arms", for that, set the angle support to 80 (see the screenshot above).
. For the Flex adapter, you need to print it twice. The long and small surfaces on the printing bed.
. You'll need a pliers or something like that to screw on the PTFE screw (this is hard by hand, but you have maybe Hulk's fingers!).
. For the "Flex Adapter" (for Flex filament), print it twice and insert them into the dust filter. I suggest to put the two hole (provided for a filter) in opposition, not face to face.
