HI, it is possible to fix the print parts for aluminum 4040 please. I bought 4040 ALU
Am very fond of what you have done for A8 Great job.
Regards Christian

I have been messing with a mutt ( collection of parts from other designs) linear rail design myself for the last few months. This one looks great. Would love to give it a go as it seems like a better design. Thanks. Jay

It's just the AM8 frame (pheneeny) with the MGN12 linear rail upgrade (BLV) and my take on assembly and appearance.

Reference those for your build and you WILL end up with a winner, ESPECIALLY if you use Marlin's feature of Dual Independent Steppers/End Stop Switches for the Z, resulting in automatic X axis leveling at the start of every print.

Also, BTW, FWIW, And Oh Yeah.....I don't run any ABL whatsoever. No need to re-level what is ALREADY level.

Linear rails on aluminum extrusion just don't flex, so once you dial in the Y plate, it stays there.

3-point mount and lock Hot Bed and you just send the Print job and walk away. :-)

See my Thing for more info on that: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3415460

This is a BEAST! Can you post a few photos of the prints (like a calibration cube)?

I added a couple of pics to the Thing.

No calibration cube: actual parts I will be using. :-)

Thanks so much, those parts look awesome!

wow cool! Been wanting to build my own for a while!
