I wanted to test what my printer was capable of so made this Micro Retrieval Tool which is a scaled down version of this:
The threads are tight to begin with but loosen up once they have been used a couple of times.
should be enough room inside for the 3 spikes as well as a reasonable length of string or thread if you want to keep everything together.
I haven't tested how much load it can hold as it was more of an exercise in seeing if it worked.
Body was printed at 0.1 with a raft and no support.
Spikes failed at 0.1 so reprinted at 0.8 at a lower speed.
Cap printed at 0.8 with Cura Tree support on overhang over 89 degrees.
I think my settings still need tuning for the spikes as can be seen in the pictures of the actual print.
